Stylish Self-Catering Apartment
This is a separate, self-contained holiday studio apartment which sleeps 2, with separate kitchenette and dining to the front & bedroom/living to the rear. It is fitted with remote controlled air conditioning, heating and is fully furnished (including linens and towels). There is also a washing machine shared beween the 2 properties. English/Spanish/French TV is provided (incl. BBC, ITV, Ch4, E4, Film4, BBC world news, CNN, etc.)
It is fresh and stylishly decorated and offers 30m2, in the village of Sauvian, 9km to the nearest beach. Patio doors lead onto private terraces to the front and rear. There is easy access to the newly installed inground pool (usage recommended from May - early Oct), great for topping up the tan while sipping on a glass of local rosé! Guests can use the shared gas BBQ with all-year round al fresco dining possible. The apartment is fitted with mosquito screens, great for falling asleep to the sounds of nature. The property borders the picturesque vineyard of Chateau le Thou and is within 10 mins walking to the village centre where bars, cafés, restaurants and wine tasting caves await. It is within easy cycling distance to the Canal du Midi and to the beaches. Cycle routes begin by us! Beziers, with many more cafés, bars, shops & restaurants, is a 10 minute drive away.
Languages: for those wishing to brush up on French we can arrange for french lessons with a fully qualified English speaking French language teacher (currently at 20 euros / hour, minimum of 2 hours for first lesson).
Bikes: we offer mountain bikes for hire as there are no longer any to rent in the vicinity (55 eur/week). Please let us know if you wish to use them.
We are happy to try to accomodate any other special requirements. Additional extras of hairdryer, coolbox, iron & ironing board are also supplied. We offer wireless broadband access for anyone wishing to access it with own laptop or ipod touch.
